I love helping current and aspiring models build their portfolios. I modeled all through middle and high school, so I've had the opportunity to be on both sides of the lens. We wanted to achieve a high-fashion look for some of the photos, so I chose a harder light source, which creates that defined shadow under her jawline and behind her (above). Compared to using a soft light (below), where the shadows are smooth and subtle. After we finished up in the studio we headed out to explore downtown Dallas. We spent about 3 hours together, so we planned it to get shots in daylight, at sunset, and at night to give us a good variety. I can't go on enough about how much fun I had with Liz and her mom shooting these photos! I am seriously so fortunate to end up with such amazing clients.
If you're needing to building your modeling portfolio in Dallas or need modeling head shots in Dallas, give me a buzz and I would love to get you taken care of.
