![]() Craig and Chris just got engaged, and they wanted to take some portraits to celebrate. We met in downtown Dallas, near the historic book depository. That area of Dallas is called "The West End", which appropriately sits on the far west end of downtown. What I love about this area is that the setting sunlight gets to pour through the buildings, giving us gorgeous natural light. When outdoors, a lot of the time, I am using natural light, but I am often bouncing or blocking the light to really shape it into how I want it to look. After The West End, we stopped by The Bishops Arts District. During our-shoot styling consultation we started talking about shoot locations and they said they wanted some wide-open, natural spaces to go along with all of the Dallas city vibes. We finished the session at White Rock Lake. ![]() Photographing these two left me feeling replenished- their love is so pure and contagious.
