Dawaelyne in Downtown Dallas

Dawaelyne is graduating this year from the longest-named school I've ever heard of! He is a senior at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, in downtown Dallas.
He explained that it is still a public school, but you must audition to be enrolled there. He's directing two plays this year at school, and afterwards he wants to move to Chicago or another big city to make his dreams of becoming a big-time director a reality. 

For part of his session we went to White Rock Lake! It had a wonderful view of the Dallas skyline from afar, and was the perfect place to enjoy the amazing weather. We also ventured into downtown and ended up shooting a little inside of the Dallas Community College. That's what I love about location work- we can go just about anywhere (if we ask nicely) and get some really unique, edgy images.
