Dallas Photography with Matt Smith

Matt was in town from Arkansas for Cheer Athletics Cheetahs practice near Dallas, TX. His portrait session was really laid back and a lot of fun!He brought a few friends to the photo shoot, which I always recommend to people. It helps loosen you up, they can carry your extra clothes, and even sometimes help me out if they want  to! 

We started at a great little place called Murray Street Coffee Shop. I like to pop in here whenever I'm shooting a session nearby because they have the best iced coffee (with cream) mmm .

(left) The sun is behind Matt in this picture, creating that dramatic highlight down his left side. He would be a silhouette if it weren't for the studio light setup to the right of the camera. 

The architecture of the city never fails to impress! Nothing is off-limits when it comes to editing. My favorite thing is just making people look amazing and natural, but from time to time the vintage approach can be just what an image needs.
