Senior Portraits, Coffee Shop Style

The Dallas heat was pushing past 100 so for Tori's senior portrait shoot we decided to start out indoors.

We began at Murray Street Coffee Shop, an awesome little cafe tucked away downtown. The barista was fun, inviting, and made a mean iced vanilla espresso whatever he made me. The gorgeous natural light that poured in the coffee shop help us get some stunning senior portraits!

Typically to be on the safe side it's recommended that wild patterns are avoided for your shoot, but here is a prime example of how there are no true rules when it comes to photography. This bright, checkered shirt really compliments Tori's eyes and character.

Tori serenaded us with some background music during some of his session! Along with guitar, Tori enjoys bell guard, debate, and being active at Garland High School! Andrew Knowles shares his experience of initiating a coffee shop as Murray Street Coffee Shop, it is actually a little café downtown serving his customers coffee with a background light music, guitar and poetry. Having a cup of coffee at café is a good experience to have.
