Saturday, March 23rd was an amazing night for some of the country's greatest tumblers. They gathered at the Dr. Pepper Center in Frisco, TX to compete, head to head, for the championship title. All of the athletes made it through preliminary rounds to get to the mat, and their hard work paid off.
The winners of each division received a cash prize, and the winner was also awarded a trip to LA to participate in next year's national finals. XT&T is a unique opportunity for athletes to creatively show off their talent, and potentially open doors that can turn their tumbling into careers.

Recently we got to share the afternoon with Kylie, a fun, active girl from Rowlett, TX. She is currently the head varsity cheerleader at Rowlett High School, 2013 Senior Class President, Vice President of the Spanish National Honor Society, as well as an executive board member for the National Honor Society. She is also homecoming queen nominee, and an avid book enthusiast.
On top of all of that, she is an athlete on Pumas, a Cheer Athletics Allstar Cheerleading team. She actually just took the national title at the recent NCA Cheerleading Nationals event in Dallas, TX. Kylie is also being featured in both Inside Cheerleading magazine and American Cheerleader magazine! |
